What is Hybrid PVT (PV and Thermal) Solar Panels?
PVT solar panels: photovoltaic thermal (PVT) solar panels are a type of solar panel that generates both electricity and heat (hot water). The PVT solar panels or hybrid solar panels work by using the sun’s energy to create both electricity and heat. The electricity is used to power your home or business, while the heat is used to generate hot water.
PVT Front Side - Converts sunlight into electricity
- The front side of the panel is composed of a high-performance photovoltaic panel for electricity generation (maximum PV power of 610Wp per piece).
- The panel features cutting-edge TOPCon technology, delivering the highest cell efficiency for superior performance.
PVT Back Side - Captures heat from the sun
- The back side of the PVT panel is composed of an innovative heat exchanger for thermal production (max thermal power of 1500W).
- The PVT panel is built with an ultra-durable, solar-grade aluminum heat exchanger—designed to last and ultimately, to be fully recycled.
- The finned version offers 2.58 m² of heat exchange surface, allowing the panels to capture maximum heat—even at low temperatures—for reliable, year-round performance.
